Wall Photo Maker – Turn Small Pictures to Huge Prints
Review by on
We’ve all been there at one point or another doing our lives. You think you have the best image in the world to turn into a great poster. But then you discover that your printer only churns out regular sheets of paper – not wallpaper-size ones. You forget all about your original idea and you just drop it, upset by the fact that your poster idea went down the drain.

You don’t have to abandon your project. You can do what I always do – you can turn to software for help. In this situation that software application that can prove to be of help is the Oreware-developed program Wall Photo Maker. The name, I’m guessing, is a reference to the fact that you can make a small image as big as a wall.

Leaving assumptions aside, here is what you can do with this application: you can take a small digital photo, film photo, digital art, graphic, scanned image, or any other type of digital image and enlarge it. The image goes though Wall Photo Maker’s “advanced photo enlargement engine” and comes out huge.

Normally you would print an image onto a single sheet of paper – the size of the paper determines the size of the image. Wall Photo Maker takes a picture and breaks it up in smaller pieces. Each piece is then printed out on a sheet of paper. Take those sheets of paper, put them together and you have the original picture – just that now it is huge.

Here are some other things you are going to like about this piece of software. First of all, the download weighs in at little under 2.5MB, so downloading the application is going to take but a second. Once downloaded, you can install Wall Photo Maker on any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system – this includes XP, Vista and Windows 7. Once the application is up and running, you are going to like the user friendly interface that is very easy to figure out.

Pros
  • Easy to use
  • Works with all Windows versions
  • 8 effects

Cons
  • Free to use only during the 7-day trial period
  • Trial version is limited: not all effects are available in the trial version
